tickets to a game that I got my man for christmas? I was thinking about putting them in a pocket of a team sweatshirt or getting some team playing cards and put them sticking out. It's going to be his big christmas gift but I want it hidden in a cheaper gift so he really freaks out.

Send him on a scavenger hunt for them. Give him a written clue in the morning after he opens all his presents sending him to a hidden location in the house. When he finds the next note it will send him to another and another and another. For the last note he has to go to you to get his final present. I do this for my kids on Easter to get their baskets and they love following the clues or riddles, like "The next clue is in someones smelly shoe". Depends how much torture he can stand. Merry Merry

Yeah, the sweatshirt idea would be funny. Get him a sweatshirt for the team that the tickets are for. OR if he already has one, just wrap it up so he'll look lost when he unwraps it. Tell him to check the pocekts then. Happy holidays!

Inside mittens or gloves or a pair of socks?
Behind the label of a tie?
Inside a book about the team or that particular sport?
Inside the band of a sportcap or inside a woolen cap?
Sometimes you can find woolen scarves that have little pockets on the front.

Wrap boxes within more boxes so he has to keep unwrapping only to find another smaller wrapped box. Then he'll finally open it up to find the tickets in the smallest wrapped box. He'll be taken for a loop because he'll think he is getting a really big size present!

Hide them somewhere you know he will look. Near his personal effects before he goes to work (wallet, keys, coat pocket...) If you can do it last minute or right before you want him to receive them that would be cool.

Put them in his stocking. Most people have the cheaper items in the stockings.
