Ask your mom if she'd like to go. That way you can pick up someone @ the party and so can Mom. If that's not successful then ladies will admire the fact that you brought you mom and you will be all the talk. Then later you can ask them out.

I would NOT think that would be a big deal to go to a office party alone. You could call a male friend that maybe can go with you possibly? Or maybe if you want to find another co worker that wants to ride with you that does not have a date either. In fact look at the adventurous side of this..just maybe this will be the night that you find a really really nice man that is there alone also. If so you will be glad you went and were alone! Have a great time OK? it will all work out OK.

Offer the ticket to someone in the office that is need of another ticket or ask someone to go with you. You might have fun taking just a friend of the same sex. It doens't have to be a date. You can go as friends. '-)
