I enjoy reading Christmas books... something that reminds me of a simpler time, a happier world, and a generation gone by.

Anyone have any suggestions for good Christmas books?

I use to have one and I haven't been able to find it for years. The cookies were so good. I think about them every Christmas and would love to make them this Christmas. Any recipes will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mine was a Tuesday Taylor doll. Anybody remember that doll? I cried for ages when someone broke the doll.

Example: I once had a totally white and silver Christmas. White tree - silver ornaments, silver and white wrap on the presents, white and silver candles - it just looked clean, snowy (for Florida) and Christmas "crisp".

This year, I am thinking about Victorian, but I am also looking for other ideas.

Did you ever stop to think about the fact that all of the plants we use to represent the Christmas holiday and the birth of Jesus, are poisonous? Holly, misteltoe, poinsettas, and some jewish plant that we use during the hoidays are all poisonous. Weird, huh?
