A Cup Of Christmas Tea by Tom Hegg. It is well written in rhyme, is a very quick read, but it warms the heart and is a gentle reminder of what is truly important at Christmas...and everyday.

Are you familiar with Dylan Thomas' "A Child's Christmas in Wales"? It's my all-time favorite. It's quite short, full of beautiful imagery, and very funny in places. (A little bit sad here and there, too.) It really does take you back to the sensation of being little enough to be overawed by the wonder of it all: It's your world, but on this day everything is different.

"the suitable Christmas competition Ever" is a humorous, relatives-friendly tale approximately one church's boring Christmas competition getting taken over by skill of a wild %. of siblings who've by no skill heard the Christmas tale previously. no person on the church ever reveals the competition very inspiring; this is just one thing they do each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. instructing the Herdmans appropriate to the actual meaning of Christmas makes each physique see it in a sparkling gentle. your infants are probably approximately in basic terms the main remarkable age to love this e book. this is been a relatives custom in my abode continuously. this is probably funniest in case you have a mainline Protestant history, yet somewhat its good for each individual.

Of course, The Night Before Christmas. We read it every year to the children and now the grandchildren, or their parents do.
