Just to wake up and gettting to spend it with my children, boyfriend, and my family and seeing the smiles on everybodies face is enough for me.

I second that super-glitch, i hate Christmas, not because of the religious aspect but because of all of the expectations. Halloween is actually a lot more fun when you think about it, the more crappy your house looks the better, you don't have to buy anyone presents, just get some candy if you run out shut your door turn out the lights and everyone goes away, try that at Christmas, and the best part of Halloween is left over candy, though left over turkey is pretty good too, but i can cook a turkey any day, why does it have to be Christmas.

Money...unfortunatly. But very few gifts satisfy me aside from the pureness of giving. The only thing I've recieved recently as a gift that I enjoy is my beta fish who lives inside of the bottom of a vase with a plant in it. My mother gave it to me.
I've found gifts to be next to meaningless for the last couple of years unless they ultimately benefit me. Perhaps it is because I am getting older.

I'd love to look out my window first thing Christmas morning, just as the sun is beginning to come up, and see a fresh layer of light, sparkling snow covering the ground.

I would like lots of things, to wake up to my child on christmas morning and watch his or her face when they saw the tree and the presents and know how lucky they truely were to be alive. (I had a miscarrige). Also I would love to wake up to my family not falling apart, and for one day see everyone happy.

To hear that there is a world wide ban on commercial christmas activities............ba humbug!
That we are simply to spend time together with friends and relatives, over a nice meal, a bottle of wine or two and a chat.

Nothing material. The gift of life and health would be the best blessing I could get.
