I like both. Last year I got a kick out of the song I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. Found a purple hippopotamus and put in one of the shoebox gifts to send overseas.

But I love all the music of the Holiday Season.

I love Christmas songs so much you wouldn't believe it. I write, direct, and produce the Christmas pageant at a local school each year, and there are usually ten songs. I love to put in some songs that aren't as well know, but at really amazing. I have an extensive library of Christmas music, and have been known to slip in a few tunes every so often during the summer. Christmas song season begins Nov. 1 in my house, and within a couple weeks it is exclusively Christmas music, no questions asked. I particularly love the Phil Spector Girl Groups Christmas tunes, The Carpenters, of course, Judy Collins, Mannheim, and the most excellent (if you are into that sort of thing) Kings College Choir, not to mention Charlie Brown, music from other holiday specials, lots of music from when I was a kid, oh I could go on and on forever.
Jon Anderson of YES did a Christmas Cd called Thee Ships. It is rare but amazing. The Muppet Family Christmas is excellent of course, New Christie Minstrel's "We need a little Christmas," various carols like the WexFord Carol and others like it from Britain, oh dear, seems I am going on forever. I'll leave you a few links: Thank You for your excellent question.

Ilove Christmas time. But if I'm not with my family & friends w/
all of the trimmings, I'm not a happy camper. And I'd rather not
hear xmas songs, carols or anything else festive.
Especially if my money is funny, I am "The Grinch's lost kin."

I HATE Christmas song they drive me nuts.. You hear them everywhere you go store, malls, work, etc. I wish they were never invented.. People took them out of proportion and forgot what Christmas is really about.
