Its like every day is a "national" holiday. I think its dumb. Any other opinions.

My b/f and I hav been dating for 2 years, and we want some alone time away from everyone and our parents. We dont have money for a hotel room, so i had an idea that we could hav a romantic dinner in the woods somewhere with sleeping bags and candles and stuff. i have been going out with this girl for like 3 months ....i see her every weekend(fri., sat., sun.) and on weekdayz... i rarely see her.
i want to do something unforgetable for her.... something she will remember.....and no not sex...... im 20 years old had plenty of that i want something serious with this girl. she is 18 and out of school... (very mature for her age)
we are very opposite of each other... we both like the complete opposite of almost everything..... if she likes black i like white you know what i mean.....

We were actually told that in previous years, we did not have enough blacks in the school to take the day off. That's stupid and seems wrong.....this is a national holiday for all, not just for blacks.
I'm really only talking about government (schools) being off.
