First of all Cinco De Mayo is not only dedicated to Mexico and second of all no race on Earth is the hardest working, it depends on the individual, I'm mostly Latina and I live in a Latino neighborhood, and not to offend you or anything but alot of Mexicans here are on welfare. They are making other Mexicans and all Latinos look bad since most people assume that if your hispanic your Mexican even though I'm not. no race is the hardest working so get that through your head. Why does it matter about what month is given to whom because there have been more big African-American events that have happened. Besides even though this or that is dedicated to what nothing changes, you just get recognized. So basically what I'm saying is get over self.

Not a tough answer, but very tough to explain without sounding racist..America consists mostly od Indians, caucasian and african americans..Hispanics in Mexico, British in England and so on. February is "Black History month" and I am not for sure, but I am sure it is not celebrated in England, Middle East, ect..There are Hispanics that are in the US legally, but just because they are here legally or not, it is not likely to make the holidays of Mexico, national holidays of America..That would kind of be like US citizens in the Middle East demanding to clebrate Christmas in Iraq..It just is not going to happen. That is where freedom of speech and so forth comes about. Here is the US, you have the right to celebrate most any holiday you'd like..Hope this helped..

Hispanic Heritage month starts September 15th and goes until October 15th, which is a month :)
All colors work hard. You'll find laziness in any HUMAN color lol. Laziness doesn't really pick a sole color.

Buy you don't know your culture very well! 'Cinco De Mayo comes from Mexico (I think), and is not a official US holiday. There is both a Afro-American and a Hispanic heritage months...

you haven't been in the u.s. long enough to earn that credibility of a holiday here and it won't be on the u.s. calender for years to come if any.
Cinco De Mayo is a holiday that was celebrated and originated in Mexico, not u.s.
May 5th in the U.S. is "boy's day"........u can celebrate the fact that ur a boy.
Is Martin Luther King day celebrated in Mexico? Or Veteran's Day? Or Washington's b-day? Lincoln's b-day?
