a birthday party theme for my son's 10th birthday?I have asked him and he said anything mom. It is not easy because he is into a lot of stuff.I just need help with some ideas.PLEASE! THANK YOU for any honest answers you may have.

My son just recently celebrated his 10th birthday as well...and since 10 to some kids is a big deal (double digits!), we had his party at the new local indoor water park. It's attached to a hotel, but we didn't get a room (wish I would have...it would have been cheaper). If there are any local indoor water parks in your area, check them out. It's a great way for the kids to enjoy swimming and playing in water during the winter months and makes them tired as well...so they'll sleep good after the party.

At age 10, most boys are into super hero characters or sports. A party based on one of those themes is a good place to start. Just pick one of the things he enjoys and base the party on it. He may be overwhelmed at the prospect of choosing and as long as family, friends, cake and gifts are involved he will enjoy it.

If he's into sports, you can get some decor related to that and hang it all over the house, and get sports party hats and a birthday cake in the shape of a football or basketball or soccer ball or whatever sport he's into at your local grocery store.
