I would dress up the Queen in a pink sparkly outfit with a fluffy tiara and sparkly wand and sit her on a Barbie throne and have her decree that all her subjects would be entitled to a free footmassage and a packet of Jelly Babies every week for life.

I dont know what to do for New Years Eve....last time we didnt have a plan, my mum, dad, husband and i went to a restaurant....we left about 10pm and them came home...there wasn’t anything on tv and my boring hubby was tired and so went to bed!
We stayed up and watched a film and then at midnight i woke him up so we could sing in the new year....then after that we all went to bed!!!! It was the worst New Years ever!
Well this year is approaching fast and we dont have any plans so far....i dont want a repeat of last time, but i cant find anywhere that are advertising for a new years do.....
I live about 30 minutes for Cambridge, and 30 minutes from Stansted Airport, ( Very close to Bishops Stortford)
If anyone has any ideas id be very grateful!

Three years ago, a little boy and his grandmother came to see Santa at Mayfair Mall in Wisconsin. The child climbed
up on his lap, holding a picture of a little girl. "Who is this?"

It's in a box bigger then a tv, its black (but can be other colors too), can be used in the car, in the house, or even in the emergency room in a hospital. It's not smth that you carry around but it's smth you would push to move. :)

Yet they don't do a single thing to change it? They give in to the same commercialism that they claim to hate so much.

If you are truly anti-commercialism, why not focus primarily on the non-commercialism and avoid whatever it is you hate? Or is the commercialism so steeped in tradition that people don't know how to have Christmas without it? You really can't have your cake and eat it too, so you have to decide would you rather complain or actually do something about it to make it more pleasant to you?
