This is the FIRST YEAR that I an NOT getting Stressed out over the Holidays -- but that is because after being a Long-Term Single Parent, I FINALLY am an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree -- so there is just ME in the home right now ... and it is Making the Holidays PLEASANT, Peaceful, and Quiet for the first time in over a quarter of a century -- and I am FINALLY Able to enjoy the holiday like I used to when I was a single young woman just starting out in my career.

I've been stressed for awhile. Usually I start buying presents in September, but I haven't been able to afford anything yet this year. I'm hosting a Christmas Eve supper & have numerous nieces & nephews to buy for not to mention my own two children!

A little, I have 4 kids and normally I would have been done by Thanksgiving....but money is super tight. So, yes, I am starting to freak a little. I have my youngest one all finished...the older 3 still need to be shopped for.
