I'm a first grade secular teacher in a private modern orthodox Jewish school and I'm struggling to find ideas/printables for educational Chanukah projects for my students to do next week. There seems to be a distinct lack of Jewish stuff on the net for me to use (which is frustrating). Any ideas would be awesome. Especially if it's something I can print out for them to make or do. And any ideas for cheap Chanukah gifts would be greatly appreciated!!

In Sea-Tac Airport, A Rabbi requested of the removal of Christmas Tree at the Airport or He will filed a suit. Christmas is celebration of Jesus Christ being born as Man. You notice the word is Christ---mas. I know anti -christians want to celebrate this day as Xmas. This not anti-christians celebration.
This Country of America was founded on the Christian Holy Book. Elected Officials swear on the Holy Bible. US Courts use the Holy Bible.
You have freedom in America to pratice your Religion.
Do not tell me to take down my Symbol of Celebration, because it bothers You.

I just spent the entire day searching my town for Hanukkah candles. I went to over 9 stores. The man working at Walmart didn't even know what a hanukkah candle was, he had to ask someone else. I was very sad that in this day and age non-xmas parafanalia is impossible to come by. How sad!

Well, my best friend is currently serving in Iraq and he wont be back until late January but i still plan on getting him a late Christmas present(even if i give it to him until he gets back). I cant send it to him by mail. But anywho...anybody has some good gift ideas for a 20 year old Corporal in the USMC?....he's the only complicated one to shop for on my list. Any ideas are welcomed.
