I think a nice tool kit would be good... maybe even with specifics for a car. I know it's not a "wow" item, but when your sister is stuck in cold weather and needs to jump-start her car, then she'll be grateful.
Another item... a nice wine basket with cheeses and crackers (if the people are over 21).
Perhaps a gift certificate for a massage.
What about a framed family photo?
When in doubt, throw fifty crisp one-dollar bills in a box. People always like money!

We need to know how old the recipients are. Any age could use mitts or hat if in a cold climate. A book, CD, DVD, art supplies, movie theatre tickets, gift certificate, or nice pen/pencil set.

They have digital photo frames online from Target.com for $50. You are able to hook a memory card up to it so the pics change they even wrap the gift and ship it for a little extra but I got one this year for me and I love it!

My family did that last year and I brought an expresso machine because I really wanted it myself (you can take your own gift if you want to) but someone got it before my turn came around. I got a gift card to Walmart, so I went and bought myself an expresso machine. LOL.

Back massagers are cool and both men and women love them...That's what i got for my boss who is a chick but acts and looks like a dude...secret santa thing you know....or gift cards..there cool too..
