what would be a good small chanukah gift for a jewish friend. like something he wouldn't expect a non jewish person would not know to get :] i already got him a great gift but it would be awesome if there would be some jewish things that would suprise him

I'm doing a report in class at school and I"m trying to figure out why they don't have a Santa which is what the teacher wanted me to do. Well it was actually Christmas aroud the world but 2 people had to do Hanukkah or Kwanza so i chose Hanukkah ok.. thanx and please answer the question!!!

My friend who grew up in Germany was telling me about a German Christmas Folklore. She told me, in germany, when kids were good, Saint Nick would visit them and give them gifts (like they do here), but they were bad a ghostly creature, all dressed in black, with no face would carry whips and chains, and would drag them off in the night. Is this true, and what is the creatures name, and where can I find information on him? (she said his name is grumpus or something like that)

dont be such a stingy sod, help the needy, give a tramp a quid or two. dont have such a self- indulgent time and do something that will really be worthy of celebrating christmas such as a 10 quid donation to the help the children fund rather than another boxing day hangover.
