If you have a great picture of you two. Go to the photo shop, get blown up and in Black-n-white and frame it for her.

You could go to hallmark and get an ornament from there keepsake collection. Like your favorite cartoon character. *tear*

candles are always a winner.

I have a few up my sleeve :)
- mittens (I suggest the kind that have polar fleece inside and then like woven cotten on the outside) In the mittens you put a note inside each that says somethin like I love you.
- Maybe buy a little tolietry bag for a dollar at the dollar store and fill it with things that mean something between you too.
- Go to say The Bay or JC Penny and find a clearance sweater there. ( I found a great sweater for only 12 dollars for my mom once)
- Moms always enjoy relaxment you could get them a gift card to a salon or spa :)

You said something for the house, so. . .
Does she like to cook or bake? If so, a unique muffin or cupcake pan (one that uses different shapes) can be had for less than $20.

A waffle iron is also fun. (They had Hello Kitty ones for a good price at Target last week, if she's into the whimsical.)

This Hershey Kiss Fondue Kit looks cute. It's $10 and can be used as a candy holder when it's not being used as a Fondue pot.

Make her a polar fleece blanket! They are super cheap too make, just go to a fabric or craft store and buy 2 different fleece prints, each one measured out to 2 yards. Any associate can give you instructions, or help you find the kit. You can cheaply (less than $20) make her a gift that is soft and warm -- Mom will love to cuddle with it -- and no sewing is involved in this project, yet everyone will be super impressed (and touched) that you did something homemade.

Stemless wine glasses are very popular this year. You can find the more expensive ones at Pottery Barn or Williams and Sonoma. I know Macy's carries inexpensive ones that are as cheap as $10 for a set of four, but are still of great quality.

Also, be aware that they come in two styles: one for white wine, and a rounder, shorter style for red wine.

If she is into jewelry U could get her a pair of earrings, braclet or necklace. If you want something for the house try thinking of things she'd like out in the hall or in the living room (EX. a picture) or a new lamp for a room.

i attempt to make my mom a present each christmas, often it does not could be a huge component reason mom's might often love each little thing their newborn supplies or does. in keeping with danger you're able to make a pendant with polymer clay and photograph moving. i might often learn my mothers and fathers reactions while they get presents, dads are extremely perplexing to tell.. yet my mom extremely enjoyed the embellishes she have been given. considered one of them have been formed as lollipops there became 6 of them, and had our names embedded on the fabric of the lollipop on each and each, yet another became a huge around ornament with 6 snowmans on it, below each and each snowman had our names returned.
