This works for nearly all female, and it works better when it has no reason. But do it randomly.
Listen to her to find out what little thing she likes, ie (horse,frog, music box..) When you find something cheap within that thing, then get it.
Just about anything from cups to cards to flashlights will do it, even something from a yard sale will work.
What this means to most girls... I was thinking about you when you are not around, big plus.

Buy her a Bath and Body thing or if you want to go cheap buy here a stuffed animal a gift card will work to like for walmart or check and see if your local mall offers a store wide gift card

You can always get a gag gift from a store the person might like and give them the gift receipt and then they can go back and get something they really want. I got my (female) secret Santa some boxer shorts and long johns from old navy. she thought it was funny and then i gave her the receipt so she could get something she really wanted.

Inexpensive jewelry, bath oils or bubble bath, sorry not as creative as you might want but it is better than a gift card.

I would say perfume, body lotion, or a necklace. If you decide to get jewlery get it from forever 21 because their jewlery is super cute and cheap!

go to sams and get one of those boxes of fancy european chocolates/biscuit things. thats waht i did. it was 10 dollars. or u could get her a cool coffee mug and put like a 5 dollar gift card to starbucks in it and tell her to fill it up on you

not entirely sure, but whatever you do, DO NOT buy her perfume, body lotion, or a necklace. Women hate that.
