Are there better sales, deals and all around prices in general or specifically on elecrtonics after the holidays or during them? The reason I'm asking is b/c I want to purchase a home theatre system now, but I dont know if there will be better deals for the beginning of the new year....

We've been dating for 4 months, but I spent over a week with his family over Thanksgiving, and feel pretty close to his mom and stepdad. I would normally go gift basket route, but I sent a really nice one as a thank you for having me for Thanksgiving. He is in VT, I'm in CA, so it makes it more difficult as I have to send it. Otherwise, I would just make them toffee and fudge. HELP!

I love Halloween and I personaly like halloween more then Christmas, but why is so many calenders removing Halloween from the list of holidays. yet small holidays like ash wendsday and black friday is in the list? I think this is very disrespectful to many people?

Yahoo is so politically correct it's nauseating. They WILL NOT UTTER the words of a NATIONAL HOLIDAY, Merry Christmas. Even on the day. Last year, they had some crap about winter solstice or something. Will they DARE actually represent the fact that Dec. 25th is Christmas this year, or will they do some weak, spineless punk-out like usual?
