I love Halloween and I personaly like halloween more then Christmas, but why is so many calenders removing Halloween from the list of holidays. yet small holidays like ash wendsday and black friday is in the list? I think this is very disrespectful to many people?

If they remove holloween then they should remove stuff like presidents day, and Dr. Martan Luther King Jr. day. I'm not trying to be racest or discrimanating but it seems that christians are doing most of this.

Well, it's not a public holiday we have off from work or anything. and as more holidays are getting accepted, and calendars are getting international, the calendar is looking a bit crowded.
Calendars are usually for scheduling daytime activities, and if you celebrate Halloween, you should know when it is and you probably celebrate at night.

If you have a calendar for Americans only, of course it should have Halloween.

But if you're trying to be international, you might confuse some poor European or Asian businessman who thinks they can't have meetings on Halloween because it is some sacred festival when Americans go shopping for half price dresses, like President's Day.

Also, when do kids go trick or treating? Some communities do that on the closest friday night, some want to avoid school nights, others want to avoid Sundays.

Ash Wednesday needs to be in there, otherwise no one will know when it is. What is Black Friday?

It would be cool though if Halloween were an international holiday.

Because this is another example of the minority messing up holidays for everyone else. There are people that believe that Halloween is an evil holiday and refuse to let their kids partake. The same thing with the 20% of the world population that is not Christian that is telling the other 80% of us that we can't say Merry Christmas. People just need to leave the holidays alone. I am a Christian and I celebrate Halloween and I am not going to deny my children just because some people think it is evil and it celebrates Satan. People need to get real and let the kids have their fun.

Most calendar companies don't consider Halloween to be very "PC." What, with all the ghosts, and witches and the like. Someone might get offended! So, instead they just take it off the calendars to make "everyone" happy.

I made mine. =P Yeah. i Take those great products of shape paper, fold it and draw each and everything; from a random backyard image or a distinctly rainbow unicorn! lol! And specific days have specific designs. and on occasion, i take pictures of my acquaintances and that i, and placed them on a scrapbook internet site on line and print them out. It hangs on my mattress room door and that's basically quite cool. And downstairs, we've a lunar calender it relatively is distinctly cool too. It has all those chinese language stuff on it.

That stinks
I think it's only a demonic day if you spend it that way but if your just having fun and eating candy until you vomit then why would someone have a problem with that? (unless they're a janitor)

That is a really good question...I have not seen that happen yet, but I imagine that if it is a "christian calendar" they may omit any non-christian holiday
