Someone of "my age" group usually has many items but always loves a special gift. I would enjoy gift certificates to my favorite restaurant. I would enjoy a few very nice decorations for my tree, especially if it is something like my husband collects, e.g., Simpsons characters.

If you want individiual gifts, try cologne and perfume, but select the type they enjoy. There are lots of gifts sets on sale for Xmas.

A nice house gift, not large or expensive, could be fun. There are some reasonable waffle or pancake makers that fold flat for storage, or a nice electric knife (they seem to wear out around the holidays), or even a nice door knocker with their last name of it.

The idea behind the gift is the thought and love put into the gift, not the value. I bet they will appreciate anything you give them.

Do they have a favorite place that they like to eat, or a hobbie? If they good a nice gift would be a gift certificate for one of those places or for a place that they buy things that they do thier hobbie with, my grandma loves hobby lobby and Chili's so I always get her a gift card for those places. Best of Luck!
