What would you like? Make the list as creative as possible.
(And wrapping up Jake Gyllenhaal and putting him under the tree as a gift is not a choice.... That's MY gift for the year!) Just kidding.
Humor me.

Is it okay to celebrate Thanksgiving outside the US even if you're not American, and have no idea the history behind this wonderful holiday?

Kinda like people celebrate it coz they know it's an American holiday and turkey is primarily served.. So is it okay to do it just for the heck of it?

this was mine and my husband's first thanksgiving as a married couple. we made dinner and ate w/ my husband's little brother and best friend. we made:

filet mignon (sp?)
lobster
garlic mashed potatoes
corn on the cob
rolls
a cheeseball w/ crackers
iceberg salad w/ ham, cheese, croutons, peppers, mushrooms, and ranch
deviled eggs
pickled beets
mt dew
cranberry/apple juice
pumpkin pie
white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies
and i have dough ready for oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

we've decided that our traditional thanksgiving dinner is going to be steak and lobster.

I have been to Australia many times (I live in the U.S.), but I've never been there during Christmas. Do you guys put lights on your houses with big, extravagant trees? Do you get "into the spirit" as much as we do?

I am thankful for the love and health of my family & friends, my Labrador, my 1971 VW still gets me to my destination, I love & am loved, and I still hold a lot of understanding & compassion in my heart.
