I just bought one the other day at a local Starbucks. Each day counting down to Christmas has a chocolate inside. If you're looking for something a little more simple (and cheaper to boot) I'd try checking a card store like Hallmark. They generally stock them with the single Christmas cards, and they have more than one to choose from. I'd also suggest trying grocery stores, or even Target and WalMart, although I haven't personally seen any there yet.

Cracker Barrel has the box that you punch the windows out of and it has the piece of chocolate in it. It isn't really a "count down" calender, but it is nostalgic because that has been around for ages.
Happy Holidays!

I saw one at Lowe's yesterday. it was really cute. Another good place to look is at craft shows in the malls and at schools etc. I recently went to one in our little town and saw several that people had made for sale. It's really a good place to shop for personal things for Christmas. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

They are called "Advent Calendars." That might help your search as well...
Most novelty stores have them, as well as card shops, bookstores, etc.
