As I found out I was getting sued today for trying to help someone, I forgot to think about it, but now is a good time. I have a fine, loving family that is healthy. I have a good interesting job that helps people and makes me happy (usually). I make a decent income. I live in a part of the country that makes me happy. I live in the greatest country that has ever existed that has the most freedom of any country that ever existed. I live in a time where we have awesome medical care. The medical scare I had last week turned out to be nothing. Whomever produces the James Bond movies changed the tenor of the Bond movies in a good way and everyone seems to agree with that, so more good ones will be made. I've had a good interesting life so far and it will probably continue for a long time to come. The last election shook up the Republicans something awful and the Republicans needed to be shaken up, but the defeat didn't cause the Democrats to win so completely that the Republicans will never come back to do what they are supposed to do, which is to take care of the economy. Despite my occasional disagreements with my mother, she raised me right. I am a decent, honest person and so are all (not some, all) of the people who are closest to me. While I have regrets, I don't have any that really require me to go back and change anything. These regrets are just lessons that will help me to do better in the future. There are so many things that I enjoy that I cannot count them all. And I have people whom I can enjoy them with. And the lawsuit against me will really be against my employer and, because I did nothing wrong (I'm being sued by someone with a major personality disorder who just wants to hurt me and has no claim), the lawsuit will self-destruct at some point (and it doesn't hurt that the plaintiff doesn't have a lawyer). So all in all, I'm doing very well.
