It's worth the 17 cents to freeze their operation, because they will be opening them all looking for a donation.
Send a nice religious one, like with the navity on it or something.
Who knows, maybe they will have a change of heart!!
Also, if you are Christian, why would you send a card with "Happy Holidays" on it? To a jewish friend, I send a jewish card, etc.....

What do you think is the age when a child is too old to trick or treat, or do you believe there are no age limits?

the falafel wraps didn't go over well last year, but the hemp seed cookies were a hit with the trick or treaters.

My Husband and I are finally in our own house for christmas this year and I bought a tree last year hoping if I bought a tree he would get the picture and get me a house to put it in. It's a pre-lit tree But I still need the ornaments and stuff to put on it. We don't have a whole lot of money to spend so I was trying to get quite a bit for a low price and E-Bay isn't an option. It's our first christmas with just us and the kids and I would really like it to be special.

Do people forget that Christmas is really about the birth of Jesus and it is not about gifts and Santa Claus and all that other hoopla??

My 6 year old boy wants to be a zombie for trick or treating tomorrow night. I want to do full make up and make brains and eye ball hanging out. is this something that is going to offend people or is it something that most people will attribute to a cool costume? we're in a bit of an "uppity" neighborhood is why I ask.

I need to make a costume, with very little money and pretty much no skills. Any thoughts. I am a large dude so store bought costumes are out.
