When you say "Trick or treat" and you are looking them in the eye.

When did kids stop rushing to grow up and start begging to stay infants? Trick or Treat is for children, and it is the people here saying to yell at people that say you are too old that cause the backlash too. You are BEGGING for candy people, where do you get off insulting the people you are begging from! 13 is really on the edge, 16 is definitely too old. Grow up, get a job, and buy your own candy. Why don't you all have a party instead? I can't imagine wanting to do something as immature and childish as trick or treating at 13. We're putting up an 'Above this height cannot ride' sign in the yard this year. TorT is for Kids! I'm not spending my paycheck to buy candy for any lazy bugger that can buy it for themselves.

I stopped when I was 12 or 13. !3 I think b/c my older mr. nagative brother kept telling me how imature that is but I see parents on tv doing it all the time so I don't put a time limit on it. It really sucked too that I let him get to me b/c I heard so many stories about how fun that was to trick or treat as a 16 year old. So go out and have fun. Don't listen your stupid older brother if he's telling u not to do it.

My kids went trick or treating last year and they were 11 and 13 at the time. I thought they would not get any candy but they came back with their bags full of treats.

I always have big kids coming to the house for Trick or Treat, they are very nice with nice costumes they want to show off to their friend. I think it is nice to get into the spirit, I enjoy seeing silly and funny costumes. Go for it!!!

You're not too old. Go for it, enjoy. In a couple of more years you'll have to give it up until you have kids of your own! I wish I could still go Trick or Treating...
