My Husband and I are finally in our own house for christmas this year and I bought a tree last year hoping if I bought a tree he would get the picture and get me a house to put it in. It's a pre-lit tree But I still need the ornaments and stuff to put on it. We don't have a whole lot of money to spend so I was trying to get quite a bit for a low price and E-Bay isn't an option. It's our first christmas with just us and the kids and I would really like it to be special.

try the dollar store first, then move up to walmart, then hit your friends and family for stuff, actually do the f & f thing first

I'm not sure where you are, geographically speaking, but Dollar Tree has some great Christmas decorations out. I was just there on Friday. I love that store and it is truly a dollar store, every is a $1. You can't beat that with a stick!

I had lived in Staten Island NY and there were a series of $1 stores that had some really great items. See if there are any in your local area. Now I am in FL and I keep hearing about estate sales and fleamarkets or garage sales. Someones junk can be your treasure you never know. Have fun and congratulations, your own tree is always so much more fun.

have you ever heard of the christmas tree shop? it's open all year round. and its cheap and has really nice stuff!! i'm not sure if there are lots of them all over the country or the world for that matter. but i'm pretty positive there are a handful of them so look one up online see if you're near any of them, you'll love it, they're great. they have everything you need for christmas and more.. goodluck<3

You can go to Wal-Mart, they always have low prices on their items or your Nearest Dollar Store.
