My son wants to be a ref with a hockey puck coming out of his forehead. Any ideas as to how to get the puck to stick? I'm using a 1/2 of a round styrofoam but can't figure out how to make it stick to his head.

Halloween being banned?

I was speaking to my collegaues at work today and since today is halloween some thought that it should be banned. I feel that is much enjoyment for the kids. They get to be dressed up in costume and have alot of fun. My collegaues thought differently.

What is your outlook on it? Do you think it is a waste of time or a time to have fun and trick or treat?

Did you ever have Mischief Night at your neighborhood?

Do you still have it? When I lived in NJ for 24 years before I moved, toilet paper teepeed houses and trees and shrubs. Silly string was everywhere. Some places was egged. When I moved to Ohio, no Mischief Night. What are you Mischief Night memories too? (I believe this fits into the Halloween category, don't you think?)

I need some QUICK & COOL Halloween decoration ideas....?

I just wasn't in the Halloween spirit this year and didn't even bother to decorate my porch. But now, I've change my mind and I need to come up with something fast. What's the best haunted house you ever visited?

My favorite haunted-house memories involve the haunted houses put on by my local Boy Scout troops that I visited as a youngster.

Those Scouts and their dads really went out! Super creative. really large, and a nice mixture of fun and fright. They usually found a great big abandoned building (once a former department store) and made great use of the space.

In honor of Halloween, describe your favorite haunted house (recent or long ago) of all time...

Why I can't stand most trick or flippin' treaters?

Some are sweet and have their parents with them - that's fine by me. I've just had my first knock of the night and this is what I can't stand:

*knock knock*
Me: Hello
Two kids of about 8 standing on my doorstep wearing witches hats: *silence*
Me: "Aren't you supposed to say trick or treat"?
Them: *silence, dumb grin*
Me: "Hang on a minute"
I go and fetch some chocolate eyeballs
Me: "There you go. Happy Halloween"
They look at their chocolate, turn and walk away....in silence.

Oooohhhhhh, where's the manners these days?????
