Saturday Night Live's "Hanz & Franz" the muscle-bound, austrian-accented, "pump (clap) You UP!" duo. More current, the nerdy "PC" guy and hipper "MAC" guy on the new Apple commercials.

Salt and pepper shakers. Sonny and Cher. (The taller one would be Cher.) Gumby and pokey. If one of you is slim and the other is heavy, you could go as Laurel & Hardy or Abbott & Costello. Lone Ranger and Tonto. (Interesting side note: Tonto is Spanish for silly/stupid.) Batman and Robin. If you're physically very similar, go as Clark Kent AND Superman. Bob & Doug McKenzie from the Great White North. Tweedledum & Tweedledee. The two guys from Dumb and Dumber. Shaggy & Scooby Doo. The possibilities are endless!

A sad clown and a happy clown? Each of you put on a baggy pair of pants. One of you wear a polka dotted shirt, the other a checkerd shirt. Get two pair of different colored socks, and trade just one of them to each other. If you can find two pair of suspenders great, if not wear a belt. Stuff the shirt so it looks like you have a belly. Whatever length your hair is, mess it up, and spray it with hair spray, so it sticks out. Get a hat of "any" kind, and stick a fake flower through the side of it. Put black charcoal on your face like you have a beard. Take a eyebrow pencil and draw a smile on one of you, and a frown on the other. The sad clown needs to draw his eyebrows (the part closest to the nose part) upward like he's worried. If you can find a pair of shoes "too" big, stuff the toe with socks so you don't trip walking. Blow up a couple of those little balloons, and tie two of them on each shoe.
Oh yeah, roll the bottom of the pant legs so it shows the different colored socks. And POOF! the two of you are Hobo clowns! Just an idea...and a cheap one at that. Good luck!

Jackle and Hyde. Or dress up as eachother. Otherwise, drag is always good for Halloween, if you're comfortable with it.
