i do think the scream mask, my son was too little when the mask first came out, but he loves it seeing it at the store, when i bought him the costume he said i wish there was a costume contest because i would win.

well I can't speak nationwide, but I know around the neighborhood where I live many kids go out dressed as witches (girls) or vampires if boys.... seem like the two most common costumes, with pirates being a close third
my personal favorite though, I simply love seeing really little kids, like 1-2 trick or treating for the first time wearing something like tickle me elmo or something like that, I don't know it's just so cute lol

My personal favorite adult costume is an attractive woman dressed as a playboy bunny! A scary witch is my favorite with kids, although one year my kids went as Darth Vader and Princess Lea, and it was a bit hit.
