glue it to his face. sorry, couldn't help it. try cutting around the shoulder area as usually "head/hats" are pushed up by shoulders....try and shape the cut to fit his. then use hair spray on the inside of the head and on his head.....it will create a glue like effect and won't be harmful if you allow to air out for a few minutes before placing it on his head. if all else fails, do what bill murray did in scrooged with the mouse. lol. be well.

It's not likely to happen & if it does it will be for about a second & a half. Don't stress over it - none of the other 3 year olds will be wearing theirs either.
