What is your favorite fantasy right now?
Mine is to be walking, well limping down the street and seeing Meg Ryan coming towards me. As we get right next to each other she grabs me and lays a 5 minute lip lock on, then invites me home with her. Great fantasy, huh?

Tis the sobering time and Sir McTealC realizes he had impregnated his cousin, Jilly McJugs, he says they are of the same clan! Jilly is carrying 5 of his wee ones? Do you think that they will be a bit daft in the head? We know that they will be gorgeous, just like the lovely Jilly and the very handsome
Sir McTealC, but is their lineage too close to have normal wee ones?

Even though your antipodean sister may have stolen from your life all that was good and sound and brave and loyal - is it not so that in Sisterhood we will forgive each other and hug each other with genuine love and respect.

And ask yourself anyway - WHICH ONE OF US COULD NOT FALL AT THE FEET OF THE GREAT McTEALC?

Jilly of the Jiggling Jugs Inn is only a frail woman like the rest of us.

Come sisters - welcome her with open arms.

(She may tell us what happened - hee hee!)

Well then - here's to it.

Let what happened in this day stay here and we will talk of it no more.

We will remember the past services with thankfulness and return the loyalty long shown by the Keeper of the Hoose by putting out of our minds the horrible pictures that filled them when we heard of the partying and the goings on whilst the poor old hen wifey was awa for a wee while.

We will stand by our friends and welcome them back into the bosom of our wee hen hoose as though nought has occurred - although God alone knows if the poor chickens can forget!

And don't even mention yon
poor hound who has lost all source of comfort in his life!

One night not too long ago, I woke up in the middle of the night like I usually do and reached over in the darkness for my eyedrops. I fiddled around trying to get the top off and finally succeeded. I squeezed and squeezed on the bottle and couldn't seem to get any releif. I finally turned on the light and realized I had a bottle of Crazy Glue in my hand. I had used it earlier that night and left it on the nightstand. Do you think there might have been a miracle performed that night? Can you imagine how devastating that would be if I squeezed Crazy Glue in my eye? Tell me some other ones if you have any.

I have put myself in the shoes of Jilly (although they are quite HUGE- but that is by the by) she of the Jiggling Jugs Inn fame.

You may have heard that she struck up a 'friendship' with an aquaintance of ours - He of the Broad Manly Chest and Tree Like Thighs who would chop down a small forest before breakfast for fun.

Well because of this huge compassionate Scottish heart that beats within this chest of mine (had he bothered to look it's not half bad actually - for me years) - and I understand that a lassy like herself cannot help but atttract the laddies. And she is to be shown mercy for the error of her ways.

The fact that I have a hoose full o' chickens who will likely never lay another egg having witness ed wit the two o' them were up ta behind the byre is another thing altogether.

And the poor wee puppy believes the McTealc was just rubbin' the wee dogs nose in the fact that he has just so recently been robbed himsen! Another victim then!

My drivers license had expired, but I have pletty of ID's with my name, birth date and picture on them. They weren't going to let me fly home! And they must have thought this (then) 56 year old lady was going to blow up the plane because I had tooth paste in my purse. I was at Reagan Int'l airport early, and just barely made the plane because I was searched, held by the police, had air blown at me, shoes removed........horrible

In Bavaria, there is talk about putting an expiration date on marriage. The woman pushing it wants marriages to last only 7 years. After that time, the couples should either agree to extend their marriage or it should be automatically dissolved.

Where do these people come from?

I was the one that got away because someone wouldn't commit. At the time I was hurt, but in the end it was the biggest favor anyone ever did for me. I was able to marry the one I am in love with.

prefer, Audio books or Reading books. I love both, I read through the day but on winter nights I love to get tucked up in my duvet and listen to a good audio story, I don't mind telling you I've scared my self half to death sometimes, and spent the night jumping at every sound. I never learn.lol.

My last question wasn't very happy so I want to cheer you all up now.

When I was potty training my son , he proudly fetched what he had produced and annouced he was a good boy. Yes he was, I was very pleased with him.

His dad wasn't so impressed though cos instead of the potty
I was presented with dad's builders helmet full of 'produce' lol

My question: Can you share a happy memory with me to make me smile?
Thanks x

The reason i ask is:
Many of the regulars on this page already know that we lost our only child five years ago. The day he was born, hubby said, "A boy, Our Boy! :) that is what we've called him ever since.
Today should have been his wedding anniversary and while doing my chores I was thinking about how happy the wedding had been. Of course that led to me thinking sad thoughts. I refuse to let myself get upset any more. So I popped to the shed to see my usually happy hubby.

I asked if he was ok. He replied," Not really, I was thinking about Our Boy" I'm not telling you the rest of the chat but it made me wonder.
This happens with us quite a lot, I suppose we are on the same wave length.

Why do we both have the same thoughts come into our minds at the same time?

My great aunt was born in 1890, she married and divorced, worked hard, saved her money and bought a lodge and cabins on a lake in Northern Wisconsin, she also had a bar and restaurant, my grandmother did the cooking. Pretty impressive to me becaue she was only 25 when she opened the place. Our family had brought over Swedish antiques thatt she used to decorate the main lodge. They were huge, wood, marble and glass beautiful things. She never had children, so I got really spoiled by her and my grandma

When my mother died, my sister and I nearly came to blows over what music should be played....we were both just a bit stressed, and the choices we had to make just took us over the top. I decided that my kids wouldn't have to go through all that, so have written down a nice description of the sort of thing I'd like. I'm not a control freak, conducting things from the grave, so to speak....but just want them to be able to relax and say, well Mum wanted this and that. Have you done something similar ?

This was something that was offered to us as younger people but would you consider doing it now?

There are many cultures I find interesting...I suppose now I would choose Iceland. They have an interesting folklore I'd like to study and I'd like to learn their system of rune reading.
