Before the mid 1965's hispanics and spaniards(who are caucasions) were given white status. There was no Hispanic or latino race. This is why you see people like the cuban in I love Lucy perform in TV during a time of great discrimination. The fact is that until recently, the white hispanics have been stripped of their white category. I believe it was because of the great immagration that started coming in. For example, during the time of great immigration from Germany, Italy, ect.. they were not considered white. Can it be possibe for white hispanics to be giver white status and remove the term hispanic, which is not a race.

PS: Back then, if you were not mostly European, then you were either black, asian, or other.

For more info visit the NAACL web page. It is a foundation for the advancement of white hispanics.

I speak with love and respect, with freedom of speech. But many social concerns bother me. Lots of people who go to church don't let the word of penetrates them. For instance, lots of who so called themselves "christians" "christian pastors and ministers" and those who called themselves "father or mother-priest".Many are gay, are they fooling themselves or the people, or, are they attempting to fool God. Don't they know no immorals will enter the kingdom of God,don't they read the bible. The word of God is pwrful, why aren't they changing, why do those who are gay that go to church still remain gay-that's immorality. I understand no one is perfect, God knows that, certain thing is beyond limit. Such as a gay person that goes to church is refusing oneslf to be changed. What do yu think about it?

I speak with respect, respect the decision of everyone, but it just that i believe certain things are being tolerated...people abusing certain concept of practing immorality..

This question is very hard for me to word properly and I do not mean to offend anyone, but this has been bothering me for awhile.....

I love and appreciate Japanese and other Asian cultures, but Japan seems to have a dark side to their culture. They strive for perfection. They have the most advanced technology. They make the most extreme and violent horror movies ever made (google "the guinea pig movies" or "Muzan-e") as well as pornography. There seems to be an obsession with rape as well. They have among the highest suicide rates in the world. This disturbs me and I wonder what about their culture, history, or society influenced this. Does anyone have any facts, educated theories, or informed opinions on this that can tie this all together? HAS ANYONE ELSE NOTICED THIS? What else do you notice about the dark side of their culture?? I understand that other countries, including and especially the US, have things like these in common. But I want to DISCUSS JAPAN ONLY.

Who dictates your sense of right and wrong. Most kids today seem to me to have grown almost on their own. broken homes working Moms , info from peers. We have had thousands of years to develop morality, but instead of improving it, we are almost desensitised .

Where did you get yours

" i was so mad. i never looked back and pretended to not notice. i mean i'm half white and half asian with a bit spanish... why are they accusing to be chinese? this ruined my day. i can't stop thinking about it. it bothers me. it puts my self-esteem way down thinking that white girls are better than me in every way. what do i do now?

Persians are Arians, and that does not mean they are better. I resent that you feel you can tell me who I am. Persians are Arians and that is where the name Iran comes from. Arabs speak Arabic . Iranians or Persians speak Parsi or farsi which is an Indo-European language. and please do NOT tell me who I am. I already know.

They're announcing the first black Disney princess ever as if her addition to the cinematic world will be as ground-breaking as Star Wars. Is the fact that she's black really news worthy, especially since the movie's taking place in New Orleans? I don't remember any news clammor about Disney making Muslim or Native American princesses back when Aladdin and Pocahontas came out. No one seemed to notice that there's barely a single white face in Lilo & Stitch. Go ahead and announce the return to traditional cel animation in a world of CGI, but why announce that you're including a black cast?
