Hitler had dark hair as many people have mentioned already but he had blue eyes.

The propaganda minister Goebbels had brown eyes and dark brown hair, was short and didn't look at all like the Nazi racial ideals. He had a clubfoot too. But he made propagande on the race ideology. See here for his photo and a cartoon about this.

Here is Himmler, didn't look so "Nordic" either:

Oh, and something more about the eye and hair colors. It's true that blue eyes and blond hair were the ideal of the Nazis, but not many Germans match these ideals. The Nazis wanted all the Germans to follow them and so they couldn't exclude a large percentage of the Germans from the alleged "master race" and the hair and eye color stuff never played a big role in their propaganda. It was important to be "Aryan" and that meant not to be of Jewish descent. Who was "Aryan" or not was defined by the religion of the person or the religion of his parents or grandparents. If documents showed that at least three of the grandparents of a person were Jewish that person was considered Jewish i.e. "non-Aryan" and "of foreign race".

Here is a website that shows a bit of the insanity of the Nazi race ideology and its definitions:

No, its not true. Maybe 10% is all. The top Nazi was Hitler. He had brown hair and brown eyes like most people do. The Nazis tried to establish camps where only blonde German men could go to mate with German women and produce more blondes. This worked for a short time.

The blond hair and blue eyes is what hitler believe to be the perfect race. Most nazis had rather dark hair. I believe the blond hair blue eyes was more of a science experiment on humans.
Sort of like a super human race.

Almost all of the top leaders were dark haired. Hitler himself had black hair, dark eyes and was even 1/2 Jewish.
Heimler (sp??), they also enlisted mass amounts of muslims which in that area were typically dark haired, dark eyes and skin.
The only Nazi's that were consistently blonde/blue eyed were the ones hand picked and chosen to procreate with others of like features to further the "pure aryan" race.

most of the top Nazi officials had dark hair, not blond. and they didn't all have blue eyes either. if you go to the library and look up some of the pictures of Goebbels, Himmler , and in particular, look up the dessert fox. none of these men had blond hair or blue eyes. but they were Aryan and that is what counted with the nazi

Well... no. Few Germans or Nazis had blond hair and blue eyes. Hitler and his cronies were ugly dorks that looked nothing like that. Google on Himmler, Goobles, etc and see what they looked like.

No, Hitler had brown hair. But he saw the perfect humans as having white skin, blond hair, and blue eyes...he wanted to breed out every1 who wasn't.

No.
It is true that Nazis favored and tried to "breed" children with blond hair and blue eyes.

No-hitler wanted to build an army so I'm sure he broke his own rules to gain followers. That was just the ideal type of person for him.

National Socialist ideology includes all people of european descent. It can be the "purest" on germanics (swedes) or the southern italins (sicillians, pure whites with tanned skin).
