What the hell is going on? Most diamonds are mined in Africa. Most parts of Africa are full of poor Muslims.
How the hell are Jews the owners of all these diamonds? Why are they so rich!? How do they own the market?

I'm in Milwaukee, and usually I can say mixed, and break it into black and white when people say "With what?"

Mulatto is the best term, but based on it's history I see why it's tainted, but words are innocent, and can be reclaimed.

In the United States, people of chinese decent make up 10% of the US population. Yet, a survey was conducted of the fortune 500 companies in the United States to see how man CEOs were of Chinese decent. 0.4% of all CEOs for these big companies is run by someone with a Chinese ethnicity. Why is the figure so far off from the 10% to match that of the population? There are three main elements that explains this. 1. trust 2. being like socially 3. access to power. Anglo Saxton or European Americans do have a personality and value system that is different from the Chinese or Chinese born in America. This personality and value system is at the root of the problem. Because USA is predominantly "Caucasion" it is up to the Chinese to "change" his own characteristics to match that of the "Caucasion" . Chinese is looked upon as good workers, but not good leaders, this stereotype continues and is true in many cases because Chinese value harmony and cooperation. Apparently, this is bad.

I just recieved a piece of mail from Verizon Wireless, and to promote their new chocolate phone, they actually printed this slogan: "Chocolate. As Latino as you." There are many things wrong with this. My last name is a Mexican name, and yes I am Latino and proud, but who are they to profile anyone in such a way? What if it was "Dark Chocolate. As African American as you are." or "Milky. as White as you are." or "Yellow. As Asian as you are." Its not right for any race.. What action(s) can I take to pursue justice?

Do you have an issue with your husband/bf/fiance saying the "N" word? I can't stand that word - I nkow the history behind it and I refuse to use it, nor would it ever be accepted for me as a white woman to use it. But I sometimes hear my husband saying it when he's talking with his friends at work and they call each other that - yes it edns with an "a" but I don't see the difference. Some people consider a part of hip hop culture to use that word to speak to another black person - but I don't care. I don't want it in my home. My step daughter and her sister tried saying that ni my home a couple years ago and I was quick to shut that down and explained that it was an insult to herself and she shouldn't say it and I don't allow it in my house. But is there really anyway to stop it - it's in almost every hip hop or rap song.

So I'm not looking for any racist idiotic comments - just real answers from others in a similar situation - am I the only one this bugs? Should it bug me?

I am from North Carolina and over the years there has been a steady increase of people moving to North Carolina from the north. I know from talking to these people, the reasons they have moved down here and what they think of the south. I am curious to know what the opinion is about the south. I welcome opinions from all over but I am particularly interested in the northern US. Please also state where you are from in your answer if you don't mind.

I'm seeing The Fox and the Hound 2 commercials, before that it was Cinderella 2 (and Cinderella 3 is in the works, if I'm not mistaken), The Lion King 2, Lady and the Tramp 2, The Jungle Book 2, Pocahontas 2, Mulan 2, The Little Mermaid 2, Bambi 2, Beauty and the Beast Christmas special...can they ever leave well enough alone, or is the Disney corporation so greedy for profits that they'll eviscerate childhood memories by revorking and revamping any story, so long as they can sell enough tickets, merchandise and DVDs to appease stockholders?
