I'm seeing The Fox and the Hound 2 commercials, before that it was Cinderella 2 (and Cinderella 3 is in the works, if I'm not mistaken), The Lion King 2, Lady and the Tramp 2, The Jungle Book 2, Pocahontas 2, Mulan 2, The Little Mermaid 2, Bambi 2, Beauty and the Beast Christmas special...can they ever leave well enough alone, or is the Disney corporation so greedy for profits that they'll eviscerate childhood memories by revorking and revamping any story, so long as they can sell enough tickets, merchandise and DVDs to appease stockholders? Is there no end to Disney corporation's greed?

WHile I liked The Lion King, I refuse to watch another disney movie again.

Walt Disney is a racist, and disney is ruining the fabric of New York CIty, by making everything for rich people and kids.

What did you expect Disney to do? Disney is a corporation, as you said. What is the purpose of a corporation? They make money. In a capitalistic society, you make money by creating products or services that people will pay to receive. You think that they are being *more* greedy than any other corporation? Perhaps you should look into the way Frito-Lay attempts to modify the eating habits of Asian and European countries so that they will eat more junk food like Americans.

Are you more asking if they should do it or if it's ethical? They own the rights to these movies. Perhaps you should be asking why people want to buy these sorts of derivative forms of entertainment.

Perhaps but haven't you ever wondered what happens next? I mean, I wonder about things endlessly and in that case well made sequels are a real blessing. But that is just me.

I also heard the greedy bastards forbid people from watching their movies in public with other people; like that they sued some people for showing one of their movies at school
