I just recieved a piece of mail from Verizon Wireless, and to promote their new chocolate phone, they actually printed this slogan: "Chocolate. As Latino as you." There are many things wrong with this. My last name is a Mexican name, and yes I am Latino and proud, but who are they to profile anyone in such a way? What if it was "Dark Chocolate. As African American as you are." or "Milky. as White as you are." or "Yellow. As Asian as you are." Its not right for any race.. What action(s) can I take to pursue justice?

I agree wholeheartedly. I would write them first. If they don't respond, I would contact a local news station and see if they will do a report on it. I believe you can legally lodge a complaint against them. Best of luck.

Racial profiling is not new and should not go away. Political Correctness is killing the USA and your reaction to a marketing campaign is laughable. You are here in the USA for what reason? This is the melting pot and everybody is part of some race. Instead of complaining with $ signs in your eyes, stand up and be proud that you were even noticed. You should be concerned why the USA is not concerned about the Islamic threat to our lives. Scream about that!

for one, latinos like to go around bragging about being latinos, when white don't usually go around being obsessed about being white. blacks do,but everyone's too scared to say anything about blacks at all, (unless of course they are themselves black) for fear of being accused of being a racist ( which is the worst possible thing on this planet you could be accused of).

Yeah, that sucks. But if I was choosing my battles, I wouldn't choose this one.
