No, she's not less-black for being rich and famous. Look at all the actors and other entertainers out there, who are maybe not as rich, but just as famous. (ie Denzel Washington, Tavis Smiley, even the Beyonces and 50 cents)

No one considers any of them "less-black" for being rich and famous. I think people just have an issue with Oprah, for some reason or another.

Me personally, while i wouldn't say im proud of her, because i don't really watch her show, and nothing she does affects me personally, i definitely don't resent her because she's done alot to help others.

What kind of racist question is that? What exactly is it to "be black"? Must black people be stereotypically "ghetto" to be black enough for you? And how could anyone look at her success as resentment - she has had an amazing life and unless you have major issues (as it seems you do) you cannot possibly be upset with her success. Just concentrate on your own sad life and stop making such idiotic racist comments.

If she acts too "white" for you then you don't need to watch her show or read what she promotes. Personally for my daughters sake I love that there are more and more professional black women in the public eye - so she will learn early that it's not the color of her skin that is important but what is inside - and that she shouldn't need to "act black" to be considered black. It's not an option, she IS black.

You win for asking the most dimwitted question of the night. That's quite an achievement given some of the loser questions that have been asked this evening.

Awe, do you wish you were not white or something, because you seem more concerned about black people than black people themselves.
