with your own kind? I have many friends from many diffirent races: Black, White, Brown, Asian. I've went to thier homes and learned alot about thier beliefs and values. We hang out often, but I notice that people always wonder how we all get along. I was wondering what is your opinion, on having friends of diffirent backgrounds?

Variety is good, how else would you learn socialable skills and to get along well with others. You can not say that you have interpersonal skills and don't know how to get along well with other races. That's impossible to be confined to one nationality. The reality remains that there are many totally different people with different customs. And if you're ever thrown in a situation with different races and lack the maturity..it could be in a work situation...I believe it will show. I've traveled the world, and grew up around mostly caucasian people, Asians, Guamanians, Californians, Samoans, ...and I believe that was a good thing. Now I live in Michigan, and I still come in contact with different races especially in College. So I feel comfortable and enjoy the company of people who are just good people. So for the people who wonder how you all get along it's because they lack interpersonal skils, and probably have hidden "biases". That's why they're wondering. Deep in their hearts they probably long to be like you, and comfortable with people minus looking at their skin.

i LOVE having friends of different ethnic backgrounds. Seeing as the United States is a very diverse country, i love learning about different beliefs and values of OTHER ethnicities.
Personally, i don't think i could handle sticking ONLY to my friends of the SAME race(as me).
I really don't like the idea of sticking to your own kind, and not seeing what else is out there. I gotta step outside the box.
I have learned an incredible amount about my friends and their cultures, since they're all of different backgrounds.

adult men are canines!! So why does not they choose a *****? i'm a white female and that i'm no longer able to allow a guy walk throughout me the two. i do no longer care approximately race, if i'm no longer being taken care of precise i would be aggressive besides. As for black adult men agreeing whilst human beings blame it on the black woman generally, i think of you're precise approximately it stemming back to slavery. i think of that black adult men get a thrill out of relationship white women human beings. form of like a venture. All adult men love a venture. I come from an somewhat small city in Ohio. there replaced into in straightforward terms one black kinfolk in it and that they dated all white human beings, because of fact they did no longer have a call interior the subject. Now I stay in an excellent extra effective section and have met loads of black women human beings (and adult men) and that they are all very severe high quality, no longer aggressive in any respect except provoked. it relatively is how maximum all of us is! I hate stereotypes and want that ignorant human beings will study to open their minds and see issues from different factors of view!!

I personally do not look at a person by race, but by his/her values, interests, and potential use to me. Attitude and demeanour are also factors: I don't like people who have ghetto attitudes or who are overly arrogant, regardless of their race.

I choose my friends based off shared interest, and my acquaintances based off their potential usefulness to me. The person's race is not a factor. Thus I have friends and acquaintances from almost every race or ethnicity I have encountered. I do not have any friends who are Native American, for example, for I have not met any Native Americans, nor do any live in my neighbourhood.

My friends are all a diverse array of colors, ethnicites, and races. We don't discriminate on the basis on the basis of color. Why does race matter when you can get along so well with other people. As long as you having fun, I guess nothing else matter.

i guess it all depends on where you live and the demographics in that particular area..

as i live in london, a city of over 7 million with more than 300 languages spoken and 50 non-indigenous communities with a population of more than 10,000, my friends come from a wide variety of races and cultural backgrounds.

but i assume that if i lived elsewhere where there was predominantly one race then my friends' races would not be so diverse.

I have friends of diverse backgrounds, culturally, racially, and family value wise. I think its good to befriend people that are different then you. It gives you a wider perspective and you can learn a lot from them and a lot about yourself. It gives you a chance to be more well-rounded.

I like having friends of different backgrounds, because I discover that we are the same but the differences are eye openers and you can appreciate the human heart too.
