I am wondering because I want to know if there is like a brotherhood between black african nations and north african nations. (I am Moroccan and Norwegian)

We don't consider ourselves white, but yet the government does

Well you're going to get different answers on this one. Some would consider them Middle Eastern or African but I'm not sure about them usually being considered white.

Shouldn't you be asking North Africans that question? On the official level, they all consider themselves African states - which they are, of course.

Egypt and Algeria are members of the African Union. Morocco technically isn't a member because it objects to the recognition of Western Sahara as a sovereign state by the other AU members (since it claims Western Sahara as part of its territory), but it still participates and has the effective status of a member.

Of few the North Africans I've known, none have considered themselves white and all have considered themselves African. Most consider themselves Arab. The people I've met from the Gulf States and the Middle East either consider themselves Arab or Persian. I haven't met any who consider themselves white.

I'm Algerian, and I have so many black Africans friends and colleagues; everytime they talk about Algeria they mention" you north African people are.... This and that " they will never say you African... It's like north Africa is another place which does not belong to Africa. :).
Anyway MAMA AFRICA 🌍

Africans range from pink skin to blue skin. Do you want to know if you're white?

Well I think it would be good to mention that at one time all of what you mentioned and the Middle East were called Ethiopia (land of the Sun kissed faces/people); at that time they thought of themselves as the same; I bet you most Egyptians don't even know that about their history

No. The Sahara saw to that. As far as an African "brotherhood" goes, look no further than Rwanda; or your local housing project.
The body count should tell the tale for you.
