if masturbation is a sin because it's a waist of seed, would it still be a sin if i collected and froze all of my semen for..uh..future use and preservation?

Waste is your decision but freeze dried is totally another story.Your parallel is on the perpendicular . waste is always a sin in the very strictest sense. But justifiable homicide is to some people although this is extremely rare.

Masterbation is not a sin. If God didn't want people masterbating, he would have given us short arms. He didn't want the T. Rex to masterbate.
