All theguys I know have never discribe themsleves as mixed only black?? yet all the girls I know say they are mixed race, why is that??

I am an African American female and this question has been on my mind for a while. Why is it that so many people think that blacks can only be the "n" word. The word means ignorant, and to my knowledge, anybody can be ignorant. So many kids in my school say "I can't be a ****@ because I'm not black." I think that's ridiculous. What do you think?

Ok so Im a black male. I guess you could define me as urban or ghetto educated. My friends and I were having a conversation the other day and they said they don't like when caucasion people act "black" I told them I don't believe that you can act "black". I think the way you act depends on your surroundings. I would define it as hip hop or urban. What do you guys think?

I was just thinking. The matter how little money I have in this country. The peasants from 200 years ago, or the starving in Africa would think me very rich and fortunate. How come it's so difficult to appreciate what we've got and stop comparing ourselves to people better off.

Very few ever complain about footballers, or music or film stars having too much money. Why is that?

Don't the hispanics and other minorities realize that only a few will get rich...on the backs of the ones who work....when you represent a cause you always get rich..when you donate to one...you get poorer...look at Afica.....we have been giving to them for decades the only thing to improve are the advertisements.

which is on the 6th December at 2.30pm OUTSIDE!! They are not doing a traditional Nativity play this year, they are doing years 3 and 4 together, each year has 3 classes of 30 children in, and each class is going to sing a christmas song, whilst us the parents, grandparents have to stand in the playground and listen. I was not very happy about this for 2 reasons, how ridiculus to make them and us stand out in the cold to do this, and 2 why isnt a traditional play being done, I telephoned the head mistress this morning, as many parents this morning, we not happy about this, and her reply was, well we live in a multi racial community and some of these children cannot participate in the nativitly plays!! never mind that it is a Church of England school, the majority of children are of that religion, and because of a few people they wont do such thing. It is multi cultural week at school, they had to dress up in costumes from around the world, have visited a Jewish exhibtition,

Americans -- as if they were the only Americans?

By doing so don't they are tarnish all American countries (America is the two continents - both North and South America - that make up the Western Hemisphere not just the United States ) as we are all Americans?

Agreed that the United States was founded on good principles but have they not strayed from the right path (not the righteous path).

They speak of freedoms and preserving freedoms but they continually curtail freedoms of others (not to mention their own freedoms - whether they realize it or not they are becoming a police state) and break international law as it suits their needs (there are still hundreds of prisoners in Guantánamo Bay Naval Base who by the Geneva Convention should have specific rights and are denied them as a mater of routine)…

Why do african americans get angry when other people say it but are totally fine with it if an african american is saying it?
Is it right to tell people to stop using a word when some african americans use it so liberally? Isn't that a bit hypocritical?
If they want people to stop saying it then they should stop saying it as well because when they say it, it just makes other people think it's ok to use that word

Without being racist in any sense, could anyone tell me how you can recognise a Chinese person, from a Japanese, from a Vietnamese, from a Korean e.t.c. without hearing them speak (it wouldn't make a difference for me anyway as I cannot speak/understand either language). I have come across many oriental people but find it difficult to describe one from another. Is there anyway to know the difference?

Why do people do that? There are labels everywear from chav to emo BUT WHY????
I have people calling me emo or grebb all because I wear black and lisen to the likes of My Chemical Romance, Lamb of god & Lostprophets. I'm me I'm not a label!!!
