Not everyone is like you, but unfortunately the majority are.
Choice is the root of most unhappiness.
I think i'm rich, and i don't compare myself to anyone else, i just judge how i feel about my situation.

That was a question I saw that made me think.
How much does it take to be considered rich?
The answer was it all depends on where you live. In New York you better make a bundle when a modest apartment sells for starting striped down price of a million dollars.
We need to eat, have a home and employment and take care of a family. So in North Dakota you can buy a house for under 40,000. In Texas it is the same and wages are higher and it costs less to heat and cool. Not a big fancy house but a roof over your head. But a mediam price is under 80,000.
These are prices unheard of in Mexico, South America, or Haitti or in Africa. Where they build there own out of mud and straw.
Anyone in Africa who makes a dollar a day is pretty well off.

Because they are relative terms, the rich are determined by the wealth of the poor and vice versa.
Also, poor can be relative to the cost of living, if you earn $200 per week, you are rich to many on this planet, but if your basic survival costs you $195 per week, you may still experience similar situations to poor in other parts of the world, such as not being able to access adequate health care or nutrition.

Maybe it is because " MONEY " is not the only way to " be rich ". Any loving mother who has just given birth wouldn't take any amount of money for their baby. (fathers too) How rich does that make them. Any normal person would not sell one of their fingers for a million dollars, Would they???? We are rich in so many other ways than just money. We should count our blessings everyday to realize just how RICH we are.

I have yet to see a person who is so rich that he can buy his past.
If u know how to live with what u have and sharing with ur (family) people all u have, then u r the richest. The satisfaction of the heart is supreme.
Man is yet to know what are his needs and accept the situation.
but man wants MORE than he can digest

It's the "must have" generation....parents of the past always try to get their kids the best...and now it has gotten to the point that kids of today don't wish for certain things....they expect it.
What I find amusing is some of the same who complain about business and gov't waste....do the same.
Success is a roof over your head, clothes on your back and food in your stomach.

Rich is a relative term. It's like "tall". You can't be tall unless somebody is shorter than you. Tall in China is not the same as tall in the NBA. Except for that one guy.

Everything is relative.
you cannot have black without white
You cannot have up without down.
You cannot have somewhere without nowhere.
You cannot have rich without poor.
In a country where everyone has nothing; a person with a tent and a can of beans would be considered rich.

Have you got money on the brain or something? You're obviously obsessed!
If it's bothering you that much, go and donate something to Oxfam.
