Ok so Im a black male. I guess you could define me as urban or ghetto educated. My friends and I were having a conversation the other day and they said they don't like when caucasion people act "black" I told them I don't believe that you can act "black". I think the way you act depends on your surroundings. I would define it as hip hop or urban. What do you guys think?

The thing is that black people started the hip hop/urban culture you are talking about, so that's why people say they act black. The term I hear a lot is "wigger", that term has been around for years and years. I know it sounds offensive to some, I am just stating the term and I don't mean anything derogatory by it.

You see what they are talking about, but you just use a different term. The word that one wants to chose for a Caucasian who acts in an urban manor is of no concern to me.
It could be "black" "hip hop" or just "that white man acts differently then the socio-stereotype I categorize him in." The term does not matter, it is the behavior that is interesting.

IMO human beings advise that a black baby-kisser is performing like a stereotypical white human being. performing stereotypically white seems to make some human beings experience extra comfortable. of direction black everyone looks well mannered and whatnot. They watch television, pay their charges, love their pets and all that. It purely relies upon on the guy and their heritage. i'm no longer sensible what you advise by "black activities" yet in case you pick to act like a black stereotype you're better than welcome to. because everyone purely loves it even as someone impersonates a stereotype.

I don't think acting black or white is good or bad, but If I see a white guy using ebonics and slang too the point of not being able to understand him and his pants are around his ankles and wearing a jersey and a puffy jackett and gaudy gold necklace's and gold teeth and a visor or tennis band. I think to myself that guy acts black. The problem starts I think if you choose who you like cause of that. Some of my friends are that way. Not that exteme still though it doesn't bother me.

Basically I think they are saying that black people are mean, rude, and uneducated,so some white people don't like it when other white people act like that.I get called a white girl a lot because I speak proper English,my long hair, and because I do the right thing.I think the whole thing is stupid though.

when some people here the word black, they automatically think of ghetto, so what they mean by acting black is acting ghetto. me personally could never be the TYPICAL "ghetto" person.

I'm not very confident
i dislike most hip-hop songs
i cant dance that well in public
i seldom use slang words

You know exactly what that means...hat flipped around backwards, gold chains, extra baggy pants, and all that other stupid stuff....grillz, huge $3000 rims on a $200 car, incorrect grammer and word pronounciation, ....
Just like when someone says..."oh, that is so gay." I hate when people say..."How do you act gay?". You know darn well what that means. It's like when a guy dresses too prissy, loves to shop and decorate, and talks with a lisp or when a girl wears boy clothes and is very athletic and is crude [or manish].

white acting black is when a white person dresses in clothes that you typically see blacks wearing. I live NYC and i can pick them out quickly. They also TRY to use the same slang and even jewelry. When I see that, two things run through my head.# Why cant they just be themselves? #2 Do they know how ridiculous it looks. This goes vice versa black acting white is just as ridiculous.

It's when a white person copies black mannerisms, style of dress, street slang, taste in music, etc. Justin Timberlake in other words, he he.

I personally find it embarrassing when someone is so ashamed of their own culture that they try to be something they're not. A leopard can't change it's spots.
