Yes! I do but thats probably because I've been to South Africa many years ago before the end of the apartied system, before Nelson Mandela was released.

I have found most of the South Africans I've met to be lovely people, extremely friendly, very positive depsite some of the horrible stories I've heard. And VERY hard working too. But its all to easy to generalise of course I'm sure there are good south africans and dreadful south africans its not a cut and dried matter in my opinion. There are good and bad in all races, no matter where you come from or live.

In their countries, yes. Why! because they have so vast a continent and they don't know what to do with it.
Other countries like Russia are jealous for the Africans great lands, even us the Europeans. Yet some Africans are given up their fate in their country.
Africans wondering around the globe, stereotyped by their own Identities, are an unnecessary burden on the shoulders of other countries. They should be proud of their country as any other people, and do their businesses as efficiently as well, like the rest of the world.

Im South African and I think that PRIVATE's answer is a true reflection of the way things are!! Actually theyre a bit worse, but an insightful answer none the less!!
It annoys me to no end that a white South African isnt even entitled to an opinion anymore!!

My company has an office in Cape Town and all the people there are sound. So I can happily say yes I do like the South Africans I've met and spoken to so far.

Not sure they like me that much though. I do tend to moan at them a lot

I do know a south african girl (caucasian). She is a nice enough girl but strange sense of humour i.e. doesn't have much of one. I may not really be qualified to answer this question as I haven't personally got to know many but purely as an opinion from what I have heard and seen I don't really think I would get on too well with them. They seem to have a high opinion of themselves and are quite cold. Many caucasions think they are above native south africans which gets right up my nose. Don't know any black south africans. Think I would get on better with them though than the white ones.

yes. i'd like to travel to south africa some other time. one of the students on my journalism course at university is a white south african and a nice guy too. he is very polite and well spoken

i like everyone...i used to work 1:1 w/a young south african woman w/non-verbal autism. she was also non-ambulatory. she had the most infectious laugh i've ever heard. i learned a lot while working with this family. her younger brother adored her, and would come home from high school every day to spend time with her. she always knew when to expect him home, and when he'd walk through the door, she would become so animated and giggly. it was really sweet. sometimes i don't see her for over a year, and she always remembers me. she's just such a luv.

Its not a particularly specific question.
You could be referring to the white afrikaner , descendant of the dutch boers.
Or you could be referring to the few indeginous tribes that travelled the land 350 years ago.
The blacks of south africa have come to dominate the political landscape after the 1990s after prssure from the global left wing
Since the collapse of afrikaner rule , south africa has become a corrupt , derelict , backward society riddled with crime and depending heavily on foreign aid.
The primeminister , nelson mandela is a former terrorist , although the left have tried to suppress this information and promote him as a figure of peace and equality.
So to answer,the white afrikaner brought prosperity to the region and provided work for thousands of blacks.Unfortunately, like so many african nations that gained independence , ,they found that the skipping of thousands of years of development is too mcuh for them .They simply loot the white farms , eat the crops and dont bother to sow for the following year.Then they rely heavily on foreign aid and say its bacause whites exploited them
