That is the name of what the other races use against us and a word that has been demonized into weakness into this country. Why call yourself the name the oppressor gives you when they demean us and call us names and make fun of us trying to take away our heritage and even say we do not have a heritage and are blank without any melanin in the skin. We should call ourselves the MASTER RACE. Then our name will be full of power and then we will be free of being called by a name that opressors use to make us feel like nothing.

found 1.295 results out of 124.156 questions (96 questions for each "whites" word)? When I did the same thing with the word "blancos" (whites in spanish) in yahoo! answers in Spanish I found 20 results out of 25.803 questions (25.803/20=1.290), and when I did the same thing with the word "brancos" in yahoo! answers in Portuguese I found 12 results out of 13.286 questions (13.286/12=1.107)? Why such a difference? Why are you obsessed with race?

Once through the Cumberland Gap what was the fate of the Scots-Irish? These people were the pioneers whose history we continue to celebrate to this day, but were these pioneers the people that we are led to believe? In seeking land, these people came into immediate and often brutal conflict with Native Americans. Why did they take such a risk and might that risk have somehow been justified, despite the obvious injustice done to the Native American nations?

It just seems like every body is so racist and ignorant. Some people are open about it, some think it is justified, and some do it passvie agressivly. It just seems both depressing and frusterationg. Does anyone agree? How can we improve it?

USA culture is a melting pot? It depends on how you look at it. Since the majority jobs are owned with Mr. WhiteMan, we colored people (yellow, brown, red, green, purple, black) have to mimick and try to be white as best as we can to integrate into the white personality. This takes work. Whitieboy does not have to make this extra effort since he was born that way, he naturally has this white personality already which helps him climb the corporate latter of success (a birthright). So what you see, is colored people always having to take the first step to walk up to a white stranger to meet him. Never will you see a whitie walk up to a colored stranger to meet him. That has been my experience.

OK.. well this question has been bothering me allot,over basically my whole life but more recently over the past year i have been thinking and couldn't get it out of my head so i want you guys here to help me ive been doing research and stuff to all over the net too.
According to my info on the net italians aren't white.

I for my self am FULL ITALIAN and i have dark skin but people think iam mexican,and italians have faced much racisim on the arrival to america for the color of there skin, but when i go fill out surveys and stuff it says, black,white,asian and hispanic i don't know which one to choose because my skin color doesn't represent any of them so i end up leaving that part blank, I don't look white at all, but some italians have light skin thats in the north ,Why does the gov't classify middle easterners,medditraneans(italians,greeks,portuguese spain-spanish[spaniards]),northern africans White?? they don't seem ''quiet white''.
