found 1.295 results out of 124.156 questions (96 questions for each "whites" word)? When I did the same thing with the word "blancos" (whites in spanish) in yahoo! answers in Spanish I found 20 results out of 25.803 questions (25.803/20=1.290), and when I did the same thing with the word "brancos" in yahoo! answers in Portuguese I found 12 results out of 13.286 questions (13.286/12=1.107)? Why such a difference? Why are you obsessed with race?

For the other one: my friend hispanic is not a "race". No one in Latin America thinks is from the "hispanic race". And there are whites in Latin America, in Argentina, Uruguay and Costa Rica the whites are even the majority.

Same reason most people in my country, the US,are obsessed with almost everything...do I understand my countrymen? Not all the time, but I wouldn't trade it for anything, but I would change alot of things if I could and believe me I try...everyday...have patience with us; we're only a little over 200 years old...

Not race, language.
This Country is based on immigrants and the melded language that has come from many years of interracial acceptance and integration.
Recently, some people have brought to light the fact that Americans should accept and bring into their hearts foreign languages as a staple to hold jobs. We should speak Spanish or some other language to communicate.
NO!!!!! WE SPEAK AMERICAN, even The English People hate the way the language has changed.
We changed as it was necessary to incorporate new words and ideas. We never changed to pacify immigrants that could not adapt!!
This Country is based on melding cultures not letting one take over another!

You need to take a course in how to properly compile statistics.
Or pay attention to what Mark Twain said.... "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics."
You left out way too many factors to accurately come to any rational conclusion.
I would be like me saying that because you didn't properly assess your information, that you are irrational.

did you verify the context for all those results, i.e. were they all race related?
do you suppose that is simply reflects a correlation between the number of english speaking users of yahoo and the spanish and portuguese speaking users?
you didn't really prove anything. hint: when your critical thinking skills plunge into the toilet, fish them out and wash them...don't flush them away.

i just looked it up and it was not anything to do with race. at all. they had like the white company (air conditioning) or whatever. why do you say everyone else is obsessed i mean why even bring it up? it's just gonna get something going...
