Statistically yes. It is caused by the fact that the lifestyle that goes along with higher income, higher profile jobs is not conducive to having children. Ignore the earlier comment about some politician having lots of children and being smart. George Bush is President, but I wouldn't call him a genius, and someone who is rich AND a politician will surely be have the time and motivation to be gettin' busy a lot.

No, I Do not agree at all. For example, my father had more than 10 children, and his income was huge. One of his friends had 6 children, and he owns 2 banks, and several factories. I could list any number of people in similar situations.

The number of children a couple has really has nothing to do with their IQ. It might have a connection with the amount of wisdom they have. The only relation between children and money is that the more children you have, the less of your income you get to keep for yourself.

Lower Income makes snece, because they have to spend money on the kids. More food, clothes, everything! Lower IQ, no. That is just ignorant.

I don't believe so. We have 3 kids, and our income is not bad ;) and we get smarter everyday, because our kids teach us new things.
