Every country has its own culture and society right? So if we like dog meat it is our business. We dont ask the Westerners to try it or cook it, so they cannot just judge us on that, can't they?

some ignorant guy told me that the french in canada don't deserve any special rights from the government because they lost the war on the plains of abraham. I feel that they do deserve rights because canada would not be what it is if it wern't for the french. The french made huge contributions to this country including the fur trade. In addition, upper canada back than is quebec. the french have so much history that is, the early history of this country especially with the native peoples. now so what do you think about these statements? I am willing to see arguments on both sides so as long as they are civil and logical assertions.

People always ask "How you doin'" and they don't even expect a awnser. They may say it and keep walking. Why can't they just say "hello" or "hi" instead of "how you doing"? "Hello" and "How you doing? is not the some thing. One is declarative and one is interrogitive. Doesn't this urk you?

I love Spanish and wtach a number of programmes from Venezuela, Spain, Puerto Rico and Mexico and I find that they are hardly any black people depicted on tv and these countries have them. Why not?

Why does poor people become more poorer and rich people become more richer and still rich people not satisfied? i have seen many poor family who can't even afford for basic education for their child while the rich people having a luxury life and guess what they are still not satisfied.
