Keep the legal immigrants and deport every single illegal immigrant, funny how the media and pro Illegal groups doesn't like to use the word "illegal".when talking about how much they contribute even though they broke our laws.

Immigrants who go through the whole legal process and become Americans are AMERICANS. They are no longer immigrants in my mind because technically, unless you are of American - Indian descent we are all immigrants.

Someone who comes to America illegally and stays here, refuses to become an American legally needs to be deported back to wherever they came from. It might be a bit harsh, but you have to live by the rules or suffer the consequences.

I worked with someone from Mexico who was here on a working visa, when the visa expired unfortunately her renewal was denied she had to follow the law and move back to Mexico. She was the nicest person I ever met, Claudia, followed the law and awaits a time when she can come back to live or work here. There are other immigrants however that will stay despite their legal or illegal status.

Immigrants are people with rights. The only law that they broke was coming without permission of the "Freedom Fighters". America is a place of opportunities for everyone. Without immigrants the US would be a place of native Americans. I don't understand why Americans have the right of having so much only 'cause they born here while other people that fight against the injustice from the most powerful countries including the US, they get nothing. And the worst thing is that US citizens are ignorants of what is occurring

My opinion, huh? O.K., here goes. Illegal immigrants should be rounded up, boxed like cattle and driven back to the border where they can be flung back into Mexico with a catapult. If they're caught a second time coming in illegally, they should be imprisoned for ten years at hard labor, then taken out and shot in the back of the head to insure that there will never be a third attempt.

Every country has an obligation to its citizens to secure its borders, to determine which and how many persons it can reasonably absorb into its economy and social fabric, and to support the quality of life of its citizens and legal residents.

All illegals should be rounded up and imprisoned. Deportation alone clearly does not work. Recently a US Border Patrol Officer in Texas was interviewed saying he would "catch & deport the same groups of people four or more times in a single eight hour shift, he could only assume that the fifth time the illegals managed to "get through".

1.Imprisonment of illegals,
2.change of US policies and activities that currently disable the economies of many other countries
3. International intervention that encourages and enforces each country's fulfillment of its responsibilities to its own citizens to basic health, nutrition, housing, quality education, and economic viability.

There is no such thing as "illegal" immigration for two reasons. 1) The existing laws have not been enforced, and 2) it is an unfair criminalization of an activity that is fundamental -- seeking a better life. However, rampant activity of undocumented aliens makes it difficult to weed out actual criminals. Also, it depresses wages in the U.S. In order to end it, two things must occur. 1) American businesses must be fined for harboring undocumented workers, and 2) economic conditions in Mexico must improve.
