How come the age for watching "hot" movie is 21 but the age limit for having sex is much lower?

There's only law which prohibit having sex with minors. This is to protect the minors since they're too minors to know what they're doing is right or wrong. However having sex is human's right, and government shouldn't use law to stop it, so they set the age reasonably young just to protect the minors but not limiting the human's right when one is old enough to make decision oneself.

Watching movie is a different issue, it has much wider and deeper effect to the public, it's to the public generally and can increase crime rate, bad effect to society. So there's another scale to "classify" who can control their instrict and not be influented too much by the movie. So it depends on the government who think its citizen is mature enough to watch those movies.

in a perfect international i'd say wait till marriage besides the indisputable fact that that isn't any longer a perfect international. actual i do not imagine all people must have sex till they're a minimum of 18 or older because then technically they're seen an man or woman and should be able to make to blame judgements (however ninety 9% of the time that isn't any longer the case).... I also imagine that you (or all people) must have morals at the same time as it contains sex... like quite believing that is love and being jointly for an prolonged era of time (a minimum of a three hundred and sixty 5 days or 2) and also you need to be in love yet a 14 or 16 three hundred and sixty 5 days previous 'being in love' and having sex is distinct then a 25 three hundred and sixty 5 days previous 'being in love' and having sex because i imagine that the older you're the more desirable apt you're to make sensible judgements and are more desirable able to have a clean image of who you're as someone (however back that isn't any longer continuously the case in spite of older people) no longer to point if you're older and some thing unpredicted takes position like being pregnant the fellow should be able to administration slightly more desirable suitable then someone who's youthful

Think if its the opposite way around 18yr old would just get horny and want to have sex while the sex age limit is 21 then a lot of people would be having underaged sex[according to the law if the age limit was reversed]

Depends on where you live for one thing. Say for instance, Kentucky. There are (Hot) flicks everywhere, but restricted to 21 and also (14) is the youngest age you can marry. So, it really depends on each 'State' Justice Dept. Hope this answered your question? I'm not sure how it is in other countries.

What you do in the privacy of your own room is no one's business. Watching sex in the movie theatre or live is something else. And you can view things on-line without that hassle.

Gosh! where do you live? Here (NZ) its 18 for looking and 16 for doing. Looking is, well, voyeurism and in todays world that is not as 'acceptable' as the more innocent and private alternative.

And they don't want teens seeing that stuff cause it's just going to give them ideas. We need to save it for the older folks, whose equipment doesn't work quite so well anymore. They need all the encouragment they can get.
