i know alot of somalian people,because minnesota is full of somalis. Yes im somalian. I think being surrounded by my people
is a nice thing. I disagreed on the war,if they wanted that one warloard they should of got him and left,they killed many innocent people.Not just that but many american soldiers were killed,some were tortured and thats why i disagree with it.

Yea, I knew some somalians. I go to, and also went to, school with some. I am not somalian. I think they're cool peeps. I get along with them just fine. Sometimes I get a little annoyed with comments they make but I learn how to deal. I realize that they are all for their own though. I'm not stereotyping when I say that either. Truthfully, I didn't even know there was a war between somalians and americans. Well, I do kinda notice that they don't get along too well in the state I live because somalians think americans are lazy and this and that, while americans think somalians are funky, two-faced, and etc. It's just crap you'll see in any race. People always got something to say. Girl, it must be hard being the only somalian in your school. I bet people stare a lot and always have some kind of question. Just do what you're in school to do and show people not to believe all they hear. Keep your head up!

Yes, I went to school with a wonderful girl from Somalia. I like them. Many people beleive single out many events and state all (insert ethnic, racial, and origian) are bad. Some say americans are bad because of a small minority. There is no war between Somalia and the United States. There is however a conflict in Somalia between war lords for territory. The event in the 1990's was not a military action but a humanitraian action in coordination with the US. However war lords were not getting the food to the people so we tried to remove one of the most powerful war lords. We failed and ran unfortantly. Some argue that this event decided that the time was right because the US was viewed as week.
